My first love and first profession.

My first full time career was as a professional musician. I began as a lead guitarist and eventually became a lead singer who also played guitar. I spent more than a decade traveling the country playing in clubs and bars and learned a great deal about live performance and running a business. I was working in this sector during the last phase of the touring circuits in rock music, which required bands to play non-stop to make a living. I continue to learn from the experience. Working as a touring musician helped inform my approach to performance and the integration of technology and human expression.
